Yours is one of sixty-nine homey studio and one bedroom rental apartments, each with its own kitchenette, full bath and generous closets. Every apartment is air conditioned and heated with individual climate controls. However the entire residence is your home with many welcoming gathering spots and activity areas.

The health and well being of every resident is our highest priority. Safety features and conveniences for senior living are everywhere; elevators, emergency call buttons, walking-safe surfaces, wide corridors and doorways, laundry and cleaning services. We provide daily personal care and monthly blood pressure and weight clinics. CFL Estates is in full compliance with the American Disabilities Act.

Affordability

Your basic monthly fee includes your apartment, assistance with personal care, three meals a day, utilities (excepting telephone), basic cable TV, housekeeping and weekly laundry services, activities, health monitoring, and more. A subsidy program is available, making living at CFL Estates affordable for those who qualify.

The Staff

Cohen Florence Estates is a family. Our staff is our greatest asset. They are legendary for their warmth and caring. Our chef and wait staff, our aides and administrators, volunteers and nurses - everyone will know you and you will know everyone.

Licensed staff is on duty for emergencies, 24 hours a day. CFL Estates provides continuous in-service education and training for all departments. The turnover of staff is low, testimony to the excellent working conditions and sense of camaraderie among the staff, families, and residents alike.

Recreation

Leisure Moments abound at Cohen Florence Levine Estates: outings, shopping trips, speakers, Bingo, fitness sessions, dancing, concerts, movies, bridge, mah jongg, a resident council - the list is endless.

Religion

Our residence prides itself on preserving our Jewish heritage while considering the needs and interests of all its residents. Shabbat candle lighting and weekly Jewish Saturday morning services are celebrated in the Chapel. All Jewish holidays are observed. Christian services are provided, as well, with weekly services and holiday and seasonal observances with visiting clergy.

Family involvement

We encourage the involvement of families in the lives of our residents and welcome their input and suggestions. We know that aging presents all types of concerns and we invite an open dialogue between families and our staff. A licensed professional holds monthly support group meetings for family members. Families and friends are welcome to celebrate holidays and milestone events with us and to reserve our private dining room for special occasions.
